Lemon Pudding Cake

I generally try to do most of my cooking from scratch. But this recipe is so easy and SO good that I make an exception for this one.


1 pkg. yellow or golden cake mix
2 pkg. lemon instant pudding
1/3 cup sugar
2 cups milk
1 1/4 cups water
2 T icing sugar

Mix the cake as directed and pour into a 9x13 baking dish. Beat pudding mixes, sugar, milk and water for 2 minutes. Pour over the cake batter and do not mix. Bake 55-60 minutes at 350. Cool for 20 minutes and serve sprinkled with icing sugar.

I haven't tried any variations of this recipe yet but I imagine you could use all kinds of different flavours of cake mix and pudding and come up with some equally as delicious combinations.
