1 lb. ground beef
chopped onion
6 cups water
4 tsp. beef bouillon
2 carrots
2 sticks celery (optional)
4 potatoes
28 oz. can tomatoes
1 can tomato soup
1 bay leaf
parsley
pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/2 cup pot or pearl barley
Brown beef and onion together, then add all the rest. Cook about two hours.
